I've lived a lot of years. Survived a lot of fads. But there are a few things that I hope overcome fad status and live on for eternity... or at least for as long as I live.
The older and wider I get, the more I appreciate coverage. And what better to cover other than your butt? Your double chins.
Not only do scarves keep you comfy and warm, they also keep you from having to experience the sudden and shocking moment of turning on your self-facing camera and realizing you look like Jabba the Hut.
No matter the color, they are the perfect camo for hiding at least a portion of your girth. I'm all about them.
Nothing says Pillsbury DoughLady quite like a puffer vest, but what spills out the top will be covered by your scarf, so go for it!
I love puffer vests because they keep me warm, yet give me the freedom to move my arms should I ever feel the need to get up from my computer and move for some reason.
They come in all colors and look great with jeans and boots. What more could you ask for?
And that orange pic above? I would never wear that particular vest. Why? Sooners don't wear orange.
And there ya have it.
This post has suddenly turned in to a fashion post. Sorry 'bout that, but really? Flannel? Does it get any better?
The Dynamic Duo
To say that if Kevin or Russell ever leave OKC for another team I would sob uncontrollably for days on end, would be an understatement of epic proportions.
Kevin and/or Russell leaving the Thunder would warrant an Adele-esq breakup song that would be played on repeat as I ate tubs of chocolate pecan ice-cream and bag upon bag of puffy Cheetos.
If it happens, someone come check on me and be prepared to see me at my worst.
Please, please don't go!
I should've included Nutella in my Kevin/Russ pity party above, because I would be eating it by the spoon fulls. And that pic above? I'd be just fine if the walls of my kitchen looked just like that.
Thank you to whoever figured out that chocolate and hazelnuts were a glorious pairing. They deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
Those are my 5 things I hope never go away. What are yours?
