So this week is review week before finals! Eek! I can say though, that this was a pretty easy semester and it went by ridiculously fast, and I have no problem with either of those.
I hope all of you absolutely pigged out on Thanksgiving. I live in the South so my family definitely knows how to Thanksgiving right.
My mom and I decided that we are going to attempt the Whole30 on December 14! I’m sorry, not attempt, demolish! I think I would be funny if I kept all of you updated on this interesting cleanse. Can you imagine how much funnier I would be if I eat nothing but fruit and chicken?!
Update on my Bible reading: Success! I have continued to keep on it every night. Although, I am not learning much, but I’ve got the habit down and it’s a small step in the right direction! I’ve been finishing Psalms this week, and it’s funny because it feels I should have read this chapter a few weeks ago instead of now. Psalms is all about asking God what the heck is going on, and talking about justice, revenge for your enemies and other awesome things that will rile you up. As you know, the past few weeks I’ve been in a feeling sorry for myself rut and now as I’m reading through, I’m realizing that I think I’m out of it. BUT I’m not saying that if I spill coffee on my white shirt or trip at school that I won’t have a meltdown. Psalms is good, but I’m ready for a perseverance chapter!
Everything seems to be going well on my end. Proof yet again, that when you feel like crap just hit the fan or you don’t want to do it anymore, [Tweet “the sun still comes up the next day and u will be given endless opportunities to turn ur mood around”] So there’s a little update in the life of Kerrigan. No fluff or glitter, just ole me, getting my crap together slowly but surely! I’m optimistic and this new Whole30 will be good, volunteering is always good, time at home and a nice Christmas break from college can’t come soon enough!
I hope you all have fantastic weeks and enjoy all the time you’re getting with your families during the holidays!
& HAPPY FINALS!
