I'm the kind of person who loves to be indoors. Or maybe not so much love being indoors as much as I dislike the outdoors.
Here in Oklahoma it's almost always either extremely hot or extremely cold, and I'm not a fan of either. And once I'm in the middle of a writing project, the thought of leaving my cocoon, or fake world, so I don't venture outside unless I jut have to.
On this week's post, for all of you out there that are like me, I thought I'd pull the outside in. Bring some greenery both in live plants and in the bold color to help feel a little less isolated and more a part of the outside world.
And for those of you who look for character development or set ideas, I think a little bit of green in a house, when strategically placed, can visually hint to a greed or envy.
Based on the photo above, mirrors that reflect the outside would be a great addition to our decor.
I've been known to have a black thumb and kill literally every plant that I've ever had under my care. But seriously, the plant above looks so hearty that I'm not sure even I could kill it.
If you're going to try to escape with some greenery, you might as well escape to paradise. The two palm pillows above look like they belong in a hotel hideaway in a remote hotel near the sea.
You don't have to be a lover of the outdoors to fall in love with nature brought indoors. So for the other hermits out there, let's at least give some green a go!
